Osaka Adventures : Food & Snacks

Assalammualaikum..

Maaf lama sangat menghilang.
Ada krisis identiti sikit. Eh?
Ok finally sampai ke entry last untuk Osaka Adventures kita.
Actually banyak lagi tempat yang tak habis di-cover tapi takpe la. Tak dan nak cover semua.

Bila orang tahu I pergi Jepun, mostly soalan yg di-tanya tanya lagi (nyanyi nada Taufik Batisah sket plz. No?

But since I ada kawan kat Osaka ni, so direct consult diorang la.
Mana boleh makan? Mane tak boleh?

Jom tengok apa jenis makanan yang I sumbat makan sepanjang kat Osaka.

1. Restoran Bab-ul Hayat
Restoran ni located at Tempozan Harbor Village. Kat sini makan buffet style. Bayar 1380 yen boleh makan seberapa banyak. Takde limit masa. Restoran ni served Turkey dishes.

Chocolate fountain pon ade

2. La Capricciossa
This restaurant as far as I concerned, ada 2-3 branch dalam Osaka kalau tak silap. But weolss pergi yang dekat Yodobashi-Umeda Building. Located at Level 5. As recommended by Syafiq and Aker, weolss order crab spagetti large size + seafood pizza regular size.
TIPS:
-Cannot take away okay. So, kena order berpatutan, jangan tamak.
-Kitorang tak order air pon. Dia refill plain water as requested. Pergi sini time buka puasa, orang tu mesti pelik I request refill air sampai 5-6 x. LOL.
-Dia punya large size tu memang large. Boleh 4-5 orang makan. Kitorang makan 3 orang tak habis.

3. First Kitchen
The only fast food yang boleh makan kat Osaka. KFC and McDonald's tak boleh sebab the cooking oil yg diorang guna tu. But, bila kata boleh makan, bukan semua boleh makan la. Kena choose burger yang seafood base or vegetable based only.

Ebi Sandwich + Iced Americano for me :)
4. Sushi Station
Tak complete la pergi Jepun tapi tak try sushi dorang kan. Fun fact about sushi ni, weolss makan time malam raya. Sadis enough? Orang Malaysia tengah makan lemang, sambal kacang, rendang segala kitorang bantai makan sushi and udon. Sama macam Sushi King, harga dia ikut berapa banyak plate kita makan. Range harga from 100 yen to 300 yen per plate.

5. Takoyaki and Taiyaki
These two snacks wajib try if you go to Japan. They are some of very popular street food. Rugi la kan datang all the way to Japan tak try. Yepp, kat Malaysia pon ada tapi the taste is very different!
Taiyaki is a fish shaped snacks and ada few flavours jugak :custard, chocolate, red bean. But custard plg recommended!

6. Partyland Frozen Yogurt
This one kat Umeda-Shinsaibashi ada banyak. Okay this one lebih kurang sama je macam Froyo yang ada kat Malaysia tu. Tutti Frutti and Snogurt. Kita pay ikut berapa banyak kita amik. Tapi lupa pulak harga 100g berapa. Hee..sorry!
TIPS:
-Tak semua flavour boleh makan. Kena rajin tanya dengan pekerja situ content flavour yang lain macm sikit. Tapi yang flavour buah semua insya allah okay.
-Topping pon tak semua boleh. Marshmallow and gummi bears tak payah la amik sebab tak yakin source nya. Hehehe..

7. Ice-cream
For your info, ice cream macam Haagen-Dazs and Baskin Robbins yang mahal kat Malaysia ni sangat murah kat Jepun. So rugilah kalau tak makan. BR kat Osaka 4 scoops for 500 yen je. Around RM 15. Murah kan??? Haagen-Dazs ada je kat any Family Mart or 7-Eleven while BR melambak je kat jalan-jalan Osaka ni.

Ice cream vending machine pon ade!
8. Variety of breads
Snacks yang paling senang nak jumpa is roti. Kat mana2 ada, Family Mart ada, 7-eleven ada tapi again kena check betul flavour dia. Even sekadar white bread, jangan ambil mudah. These cute breads I beli time kat Kobe Anpanman. Arghhh kawai desss...

9. Indian Cafe & Restaurant
Malam last before return to Malaysia, Syafiq sempat bawak me and his parents to this Indian Restaurant. Just few stations from Minoh. Kat sini served naan and variety of curry.. For your info, banyak je indian restaurant kat Osaka ni cuma kena tengok mahal or murah je.

10. Fisherman's Market Kobe
Located at Kobe Harborland. This place ni quite mahal la. Makan ala buffet. 2800 yen per entry and boleh makan as much seafood as you can. I dah la not so into seafood sangat so agak rugi la. Tapi nasib baik orang yang belanja masa ni. Hehehehe..

So that were some of foods & snacks yang boleh dimakan while you at Japan. Love to remind you that even kita kat tempat orang, makan kena jaga. Jangan main sebat semua nak try. Expecially bila jumpa street food. Ya Allah, I memang banyak gila tergoda dengan itu ini, but this is not a Muslim country. Kena ask before you buy any food. Dan before pergi tu buat research sikit. Bukan Jepun je, any country pon camtu jugak. Luckily I have friends yang stay in Osaka so semua consult dorang. So I guess this is the end of Osaka Adventures entry. See you in next series of entry okay. Konichiwa.
